All 46 fine, some avoiding the rain in the copse but most up and eating. They’ve already made an impact on the top section of the reserve.

Tues 18th Nov - staff check
Sheep were all looking really good today. They were down at the southern end initially but once it brightened up they ventured out into the sunny northern section. I was working with volunteers on site today and decided it was a good opportunity to let them onto the main reserve. They were really keen and we got them in at the southern end. They instantly started feasting on the dogs mercury and nettles in the woodland, byt ventured out into bay 3 and got going on the dewberry and clematis. They were really happy with the new area and variety of forage. Just a quick reminder to break any ice on the troughs please while we are having this cold weather. Please dont take the ice out of the troughs though. Thanks so much folks!
